La diabetes mellitus (DM) es una enfermedad crónica que afecta a una gran parte de la población mundial. Este artículo propone el diseño del prototipo de un Sistema de Tutoría (ST) desarrollado para apoyar las necesidades educativas relacionadas con el tratamiento de la DM. El objetivo es guiar a los pacientes con diabetes tipo 1 y a sus familias en las mejores rutinas y precauciones que deben seguir para mejorar su calidad de vida. Dado que el diseño del ST es el primer paso del proyecto de un Sistema de Tutoría Inteligente, se presenta el proyecto completo, pero en este artículo se describe con mayor detalle el primer paso: el diseño del ST y los aspectos pedagógicos.#Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease affecting a large segment of world's population, This article proposes the prototype design of a Tutoring System (TS) developed to support the educational needs related to DM treatment, The objective Is to guide Type 1 patients and their families in the better routines and cautions they should follow, to improve their life quality. As the TS design is the first step of the project of an Intelligent Tutoring System design, the entire project is presented but the first step, the TS design and the pedagogical issues are described more in detail in this article.
